Dr. McFall is an Economist at Welch Consulting's Bryan, Texas office. He specializes in using economic and statistical analyses in labor, intellectual property, and complex commercial litigation disputes. Dr. McFall has consulted on matters ranging from trade secrets disputes in the high tech medical research industry to patent disputes in the computer software and electronics industries to environmental damage disputes in the residential real estate market, as well as consulted large, well-known firms on their compensation methods.
Dr. McFall has a Ph.D. in Economics from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, where he specialized in labor economics and industrial organization, and a B.S. in Secondary Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH. His research focuses largely on mechanisms of providing incentives to tournament participants, although he has also published articles relating to economics education and international trade. Dr. McFall has taught classes in microeconomics and macroeconomics at North Carolina State University and Wake Forest University.
